Our new look

We're heading off to school this morning for our first round of sugar, costume parade, and room party! As you can see we're all Indians this year. We're all excited and can't wait to show our friends...you first of course!

He who has the bigger rack wins!

Otherwise known as "he who begs the loudest". It's mating season in Park City, and I don't mean for the human locals. It's time for the moose to do they're thing. In the picture above, two males about 3 to 5 years old are gently butting heads while a female is trying to ignore them and get some dinner before dark. The guys keep their eye on her as she wanders down in search of leaves. When she gets to far away they stop showing off to move closer in her direction, afraid she might give them the slip. In the picture below is the female with her baby and the two males.

Bbrrrr, I'm Freezing!

This is what we woke up to yesterday morning. Of course we hadn't winterized anything, so that's what the family did all Saturday morning. We got our winter gas tanks filled, exchanged motorcycles for snowthrowers, put antifreeze in all the vehicles and trailers, put away bicycles and pulled out snow sleds, and blowed out the sprinklers! Wow, that's a lot. It makes for a pretty view, but couldn't we have had a few more months of sun?

Why Does Every Kid Have To Try This?

I thought because he was six years old now that we had somehow missed this stage of growing up and breezed by it. But oh no....I guess every kid has to try it some time. Here's the damage....
